VSPT Wine Group was founded in 2008 from the merger of two Chilean winemaking groups: Viña San Pedro (founded in 1865), controlled by CCU S.A., and Viña Tarapacá Ex Zavala.
During 2024, VSPT remained the number one wine seller in terms of volume and value in the Chilean domestic market and continued to lead in sales of premium sparkling wines, maintaining the strong position achieved in recent years.
Regarding exports from Chile, VSPT remained the second-largest exporter, increasing its export volume by 4% compared to 2023, and continued to strengthen its commercial offices in China, the United States, and England. Globally, VSPT remained among the Top 20 wine-selling wineries.
In terms of sustainability, VSPT was once again recognized as a Gold Member by the International Wineries for Climate Action (IWCA) in 2024, a milestone that further solidifies its leadership in the industry’s climate change agenda.
Regarding innovation, for the sixth consecutive year, VSPT was recognized as Chile’s most innovative winery in the “Most Innovative Companies” ranking by the ESE Business School of the Universidad de los Andes.
In terms of results, VSPT’s total revenue in 2024 reached $282,638 million, 12% higher than the previous year. EBITDA reached $41,829 million, 30% higher than in 2023. Finally, net profit for the year was $19,201 million, 35% higher than the previous year.
